My names Forest, Forest Gump

  My name is James Lemire, I am the second to the youngest of 5 boys. I am a current student at Linn Benton Community College. I will be finishing my second year here in the Fall of 2017 and transferring to Western Oregon University to continue my degree in sports medicine. I work part time at BG'S Barbecue in Monmouth, Oregon.
  
  
  The area of interest I ave in the media going into this class would have to be how the media affects the market. So many items are on display in the media and I would love to see the trends and impacts different items have in different areas to different demographics. Such as I have seen, cigarette banners and commercials in low income neighborhoods. 
  
  
  Something I am passionate about is shrimp. "I know all there is to know about shrimp." In reality, I am passionate about cooking. I have been cooking since I was about 10. I have always loved to try and throw new spins on classical dishes and trying to implement my own style into already well known dishes. Give it my own flavor! I have been working as a cook at a BBQ restaurant which has allowed to me further express my ideas in a more professional work setting!
